Position Overview :

An established automotive dealership in the Metairie area is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to handle vehicle title and registration processing. The ideal candidate will have prior dealership experience and a strong understanding of Louisiana DMV procedures.

Responsibilities :

Process new and used vehicle titles registrations and related documentation

Verify accuracy of vehicle identification numbers (VINs) lien information and title data

Submit completed paperwork to the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV)

Track and resolve title issues or delays

Maintain organized title files and records in compliance with state and federal regulations

Communicate professionally with customers banks and lienholders

Assist the accounting and sales departments with administrative support as needed

Qualifications :

Previous experience as an Automotive Title Clerk or in a dealership office preferred

Strong knowledge of Louisiana title and registration procedures

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership management systems

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
