[job_card.job_description]Operate Class A commercial motor vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Perform drop‑and‑hook, no‑touch dry van deliveries according to account instructions and schedule. Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; promptly report vehicle defects or maintenance needs. Maintain accurate logs and required documentation, including ELD usage as applicable. Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or operational issues. Adhere to hours‑of‑service rules and company safety standards at all times. Age : 21 years or older. License : Valid CDL‑A. Experience : Minimum 3 months of solo tractor‑trailer driving experience within the last 12 months. (Time spent training or driving with a mentor does not satisfy this requirement.) Drug testing : Ability to pass DOT drug screening. Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements for commercial drivers. Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication with dispatch and customers. Previous experience on regional or dedicated dry‑van routes. Demonstrated commitment to safe driving, punctuality, and professional customer service. Predictable, dedicated drop‑and‑hook work that minimizes time at customer locations. Competitive annual pay plus additional stop / detention / layover compensation and a sign‑on bonus. - Compensation : $75,000 – $85,000 per year. Sign‑on bonus : $1,000. Additional pay available for detention, layover, and extra stops.
- Home time : Bi‑weekly for 48 hours.
- Area of operation : East of I‑35.
- Freight type : Dry van, 100% no‑touch drop‑and‑hook operations.
- Equipment : Late‑model Freightliner and Kenworth tractors, fully equipped.
- Benefits : Full benefits package.
