[job_card.job_description]Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State in good standing. Minimum of 3 years working with medically fragile population. At least one year experience with pediatrics. Experience in pain management and working with medically fragile children and young adults is highly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide emotional support to patients and families. Location : Bronx, NY
Type : Per Diem, 1099 Independent Contractor Specialty : Providing compassionate nursing care to children and young adults in a home setting, focusing on pain management, symptom relief, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive in-home assessments and develop personalized care plans
- Provide pain management interventions and monitor patient symptoms
- Educate families and caregivers on medication administration, symptom monitoring, and care techniques
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all regulatory and professional standards
