Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to join our team at our facility located in Birmingham, AL, 35209. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our production processes to ensure efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP software, lean manufacturing principles, ISO 9001 certification experience, scheduling, and high-level operations analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production personnel to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Implement and enforce lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes and minimize waste
  • Utilize ERP software to track and manage production schedules, inventory levels, and order fulfillment
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 certification requirements and maintain necessary documentation
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement process enhancements
  • Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications

  • Proficient in using ERP software for production planning and scheduling
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing them
  • Prior experience with ISO 9001 certification and maintaining related documentation
  • Proven ability to effectively schedule production activities to meet customer demands
  • Excellent analytical skills for high-level operations analysis and problem-solving
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and motivate production personnel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
