Medical Lab Technician

Job Title: Medical Lab Technician (MLT) - Rockford, Illinois

Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts, 30-min meal break)
Type: Contract / Travel

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Lab Technician (MLT) for a 13-week contract in Rockford, Illinois . The MLT working alone- strong and independent candidates. Will have phlebotomy duties too.

Responsibilities:
Collect blood samples and other specimens using proper techniques (e.g., venipuncture, capillary puncture)..

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers.
Identify and troubleshoot equipment or test discrepancies.

Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory data.

Requirements:
MT/MLT, ASCP certified.

BLS certification (current).

Minimum 1 year of recent MLT/MT experience

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Competitive hourly pay ($42/hr).
