License : RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer)

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have : RCS certification

BLS certification

1-3 years of experience with neonate to geriatric patients

Description : Unit Information :

The unit has 2 beds and a staff of 7.

Day shift staffing includes 2-3 staff members.

Night shift staffing includes 1-2 staff members, with no overnight shifts.

Weekend coverage includes 1-2 staff members on Saturday and Sunday.

Patient ratios are 1 : 1.

Typical equipment includes GE documentation systems.

Documentation system utilized is Meditech Expanse.

Call requirements are 3-7 nights per month.

Typical procedures performed include complete 2D echocardiograms.

Candidates must be able to function independently.

Ability to complete studies in less than 45 minutes per patient is required.

Candidates should easily adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment.

Ability to take call for emergency stat echoes is necessary.

Dress code is ciel blue scrubs.
