Virtus Healthcare Staffing is supporting the recruitment efforts for an open Staff Sonographer - Women's Health (RDMS AB or OB / GYN) position at a leading academic medical center in Burlington, VT . This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with Day / Evening shifts and scheduled weekend rotation.

Requirements :

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, Radiologic Technology program, or equivalent two-year allied health program
• ARDMS registration required with ABD (Abdominal) or OB / GYN credential
• Experience :

Minimum 2 years (24 months) of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred

• Skills :

Advanced technical expertise to perform tailored examinations and recognize diagnostic pathology

• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Perform routine and complex diagnostic ultrasound imaging tailored to each patient's clinical presentation
• Customize examinations to overcome anatomical challenges and obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate closely with physicians and radiology staff to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care
• Maintain technical competency and assist in the orientation of new team members or trainees
• Promote compassionate, age-appropriate care in all patient interactions
