Under the direction of the Emergency Department Nursing Director and in collaboration with ED Nursing Leadership, the incumbent Registered Nurse will primarily provide care to patients with a focus on our pediatric population.

36 hours per week straight nights with weekend requirements

Qualifications

Requirements for an ED Registered Nurse - Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license - Must have at least 2 years of Emergency experience and / or 2 years of pediatric acute care experience. - Utilize the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care - Perform patient assessments and treatments according to policy / procedure - Discharge teaching - Update patient records - Follow guidelines and polices established by MGH - Communicate with members of the healthcare team
