Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Financial : Achieve P&L targets; manage business unit resources to deliver EBITDA objectives.
Revenue Growth : Own and drive revenue growth; lead the team to identify and secure new revenue opportunities, including maximizing existing client business, expanding white space, and supporting the "Customers as Clients" initiative.
Strategy Alignment : Support the team in developing strategies to align resources for revenue growth; coordinate with senior leaders to achieve goals.
Business Development : Evaluate performance against industry trends; customize go-to-market strategies; oversee the launch of new marketing programs and generate new business leads.
Insights : Develop category, channel, customer, and competitive insights; oversee data collection and reporting to identify trends and opportunities; champion insights to drive consumer / shopper behavior change.
Optimization : Adjust and optimize go-to-market strategies; work closely with business leaders to maximize processes; attend trade exhibits, shows, and field programs to maintain knowledge; identify gaps and best practices to improve performance.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct Reports : Hire, retain, train, coach, guide, direct, and develop direct reports using company-wide processes, tools, and resources.
Indirect Reports : Provide guidance, direction, and mentoring to indirect reports.
Travel and Driving Requirements
Essential duties include travel and driving.
Travel up to 30‑50% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications
Education Level (Required) : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. (Preferred) : Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
7‑10+ years of management / leadership experience in marketing and business development.
Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic business environment.
Experience managing a team of direct and indirect reports.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Expert influencing skills – manage boundaries, set expectations, and build alignment across management levels and client interface.
Expert insight skills – identify and develop robust data, transform into decisions balancing risk and reward.
Expert execution skills – coordinate customer promises into measurable business results.

Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Empathy / understanding of the impact of marketing and business development on field associates.
Technical proficiency in marketing and business development tools, MS Office, and data reporting systems.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Team player with good people skills.
Manage and develop a team of 10 or more employees, including direct and indirect reports.
Proven track record in developing strategies and delivering results.
