Registered Nurse – NeuroSpine Med Surg / Telemetry (Night Shift Travel Contract)

Fort Wayne, Indiana | Full-Time | 13-Week Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong NeuroSpine and Telemetry experience for a night-shift travel assignment. This is a great opportunity for a nurse confident in caring for high-acuity neurological, post-surgical, trauma, and complex medical patients.

This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently while providing exceptional patient care.

Position Details

  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks
  • Shift : Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)
  • Guaranteed Hours : 72 or 96 bi-weekly
  • Schedule : Every other weekend & holidays required
  • Block scheduling approved
  • Floating may be required

    • Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
  • Neuro and post-operative spine experience required
  • Telemetry experience required
  • Strong neurological assessment skills
  • Experience with drain management, chest tube care, and groin site monitoring post-interventional radiology

    • Required Certifications

  • Active RN license (Compact accepted)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS

    • Unit & Clinical Environment

  • Patient population includes stroke, seizures, trauma, post-op spine, renal failure, DKA, telemetry, and post-ICU care
  • 24-bed unit
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio : 1 : 5 or 1 : 6
  • EMR : Cerner
  • Navy scrubs required
