Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Nurse II in the Post Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgeries. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including :

• Implementing physician orders and administering medications
• Starting IVs and performing necessary treatments and procedures
• Documenting treatments according to company policy and regulations
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions
• Assessing and evaluating patient needs and responses to care
• Providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
• Collaborating with the nursing team to develop comprehensive care plans
• Guiding ancillary personnel and upholding professional nursing standards

Qualifications :

Unit Description :

The Post-Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit consists of 27 beds, providing care to a diverse patient population ranging from acute and chronically ill medical and surgical cardiothoracic patients. Most patients are between the ages of 55 and 75, having undergone cardiac or thoracic surgeries.

We welcome patients who present with cardiac diagnoses or require telemetry monitoring post-procedure. Continuous monitoring is available based on specific criteria, ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care tailored to their needs.
