Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mold Technician I to join our production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and monitoring injection molding work cells to ensure successful production runs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional to contribute to our high-quality production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Setup & Operation :
- Set up injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment per established documentation
- Enter machine parameters and configure work cells according to specifications
- Monitor production runs and make adjustments within prescribed parameters developed by our Process Engineers
- Set up assembly equipment and fixtures as needed
Quality & Maintenance :
Perform basic troubleshooting of assembly equipment and process issuesClean and maintain all assembly-related equipmentCatalog and monitor assembly fixtures and tools for wearEnsure safety and quality through continuous process monitoringTraining & Leadership :
Train operators on work cell operationsProvide leadership to subordinate team membersAssist with trainee development as assignedQualifications
Required :
High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years of manufacturing experienceBasic understanding of manufacturing processesMastery of Material Handler responsibilitiesStrong fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive hand / wrist motionsPhysical Requirements :
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbsComfortable with frequent standing, walking, and constant activityCapable of occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbingWork Environment
Manufacturing floor environment with loud noise levelsMay require excessive overtime as production demands requireExtended periods of standing and computer activityTemperature-controlled production facilityCompensation & Benefits
Pay Status : Hourly, Non-exemptPay Rate : $23.25 per hourAssociate Benefits :
