Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking an HR Generalist to join an established manufacturing company in Salem. This Human Resources role requires a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage various human resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, and workers' compensation. The ideal candidate will bring a customer-focused approach and exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple priorities seamlessly. This role is 100% in office and does require some travel to other locations a few times per year. Responsibilities :
- Manage workers' compensation processes, ensuring compliance and effective case handling.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation to foster a positive workplace experience.
- Oversee HR administration tasks, including benefits coordination and policy implementation.
- Provide support for employee relations, addressing concerns and promoting a collaborative environment.
- Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with management to address staffing needs and support organizational goals.
- Conduct training sessions and support employee development initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, maintaining compliance standards.
- Handle multiple tasks and projects efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist for companies with 200+ employees required.
- Experience with multi-state HR support helpful.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in managing workers' compensation processes.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to build relationships across all levels.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Experience in manufacturing or similar industry is strongly desired.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems is essential.
- HR certifications or a bachelor's degree are valued but not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
