Insurance Authorization Representative

A company is looking for an Authorizations-Insurance Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all inpatient / observation stay authorizations and referral numbers are present in the EMR system for discharged patients

Collaborate with financial services personnel to troubleshoot and resolve missing authorizations

Review and process daily discharged patient reports to ensure accurate authorization / referral numbers are obtained and posted correctly

Required Qualifications

Experience in patient financial services or a related field

Knowledge of insurance authorization processes

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Familiarity with EMR and document imaging systems

Strong analytical skills for resolving account discrepancies
