Were looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team specializing in laser cutting and fabrication. This hands-on role involves setting up operating and maintaining CNC and laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to blueprints and CAD files. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail excellent problem-solving skills and experience working with precision tolerances in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines and laser cutters to meet production specifications and quality standards.
  • Interpret blueprints CAD drawings and technical documents to ensure accurate part fabrication.
  • Perform measurements and inspections to verify part accuracy using precision tools.
  • Maintain and calibrate machinery ensuring consistent production quality and uptime.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process efficiency and material optimization.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • 3 years of CNC machining or laser cutting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience working with acrylics plastics or light-gauge metals preferred.
  • Familiarity with EnRoute or similar CAM / CAD software; CAD / CAM programming skills a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a safe organized workspace.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
