Telecommunications Network & Systems Technician

DT Professional Services is seeking a Telecommunications Network & Systems Technician to join our team in beautiful Oceanside, California! The candidate should have working proficiency with a range of RF and microwave technologies, as well as deep technical knowledge and a proven track record in managing and optimizing advanced communication systems. There is required travel for this position an estimated 10 days of travel per year.

Responsibilities :

• Systems Installation and Setup :
• Lead the installation of complex communications systems, including supporting subsystems across various environments- This includes setting up equipment, antennas, and cabling, as well as lighting on towers and buildings.
• Work comfortably at heights of up to 50 feet using ladders, bucket trucks, and man lifts.
• Logistical Management :
• Oversee comprehensive logistical support tasks encompassing asset management, inventory control, configuration, and change management for advanced radio and networking equipment.
• System Administration :
• Manage and maintain the interface of network and radio communication systems, ensuring seamless operation and integration of supporting and peripheral systems.
• Low Voltage Systems :
• Install, maintain, upgrade, and document various low voltage power systems such as power-over-ethernet devices, CCTV, VoIP phones, security systems, routers, switches, wireless access points, antennas, GPS devices, etc.

The compensation range for this position : $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
