Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary

The position is responsible for conducting managing inventory and routine and non routine analyzes of in process materials, samples and finished goods. The Quality Control Inspector will utilize the Inventory Management System (Razor ERP) to track all stages of inventory and conduct thorough checks and sampling on products and processes to ensure that we are meeting quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate can help to develop and improve guidelines and make recommendations for updating inventory management and material testing and quality / safety protocols.

Job Functions

• Utilize Razor ERP to track and maintain an up to date inventory for all new and processed materials.
• Lead team in conducting periodic physical count inventories.
• Conduct routine and non-routine analyzes of in-process materials, samples, and finished goods.
• Conducting tests at different stages of production from raw materials to final product.
• Interpret test results and compare to referenced specifications and report questionable test results, defects or problems to Supervisor
• Assist in the initiation, investigation, and closure of product and process deviations
• Recommend corrective action for quality issues.
• Conduct investigations concerning operational process issues
• Generate Non-Conformance Report for all non-conforming material received by suppliers and determine actions required. Identify root cause, verify discrepancies and responsibility.
• Review documentation to assure accuracy, completeness and errors
• Respond to any product or process quality related problems that may occur during the manufacturing processes.
