Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger management.Lead month-end and year-end close processes; prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.Develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support leadership decision-making.Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals.Implement and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting systems.Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and accountability.Core Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller capacity.Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience (NetSuite, Sage, or Epicor preferred).Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.Location : Mishawaka, IN
Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday
Compensation : $90,000-$115,000 annually
