Epic is hiring: User Experience Designer in Lubbock

Overview

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

As a UX Designer, you'll act as the lead experience and visual designer for several development teams, setting the direction for joyful design. You'll meet with end-users to understand their needs, research workflows, and observe applications in context. You'll work with developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture, demonstrating ideas with sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Lead experience and visual design for multiple development teams
• Engage with end-users to identify needs and contextual workflows
• Collaborate with developers to design intuitive applications and strong information architecture
• Create design artifacts at multiple fidelity levels (sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes)

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating user experience and visual design skills
• Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• COVID-19 vaccination
• Available to start before June 2026
