Apidel Technologies is seeking a local contract Mammography Technologist for a local contract job in Irvine, California.

Job Details :

Mammo Tech for outpatient infusion center.

5x8 days M-F, no call / weekends / float required.

Oncology based mainly dealing with breast cancer patients.

Must have :

2 years exp REQUIRED, 5+ years preferred.

1st time travelers considered with 5+ years of experience.

Exceptional customer service skills required for adult / Geriatric patients.

3-year old department with new lead physician; adaptability and change management necessary for success.

Comfort with ambiguity is a plus, as environment is dynamic.

Will work alongside two other mammo techs and lead ultrasound tech.

16 hours unit orientation, Grey, Caribbean Blue or Navy Blue scrubs.

EPIC documentation.

Certifications REQUIRED :

State license, BLS, MQSA

Certifications PREFERRED :

ARRT (M), ARRT (R)

Skills / experience REQUIRED :

3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Fine Needle Aspiration, Needle Localizations, Screening Mammograms, Stereotactic Biopsy. Hologic, Trophon.

Skills / experience PREFERRED :

Siemens, Digital Quality Assurance Procedures, Breast ultrasound, Dexa.
