Accounting Clerk

Description

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk who is thorough and skilled in their work. The client is expanding and needs an Accounting Clerk that is organized and can manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Management : Maintain and update the general ledger by recording financial transactions accurately.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable : Manage the processing of invoices, payments, and collections to ensure timely and accurate accounting.
• Tax Compliance : Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary tax filings (e.g., VAT, corporate tax returns).
• Budgeting & Forecasting : Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting to support business goals.
• Audit Preparation : Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
• Reconciliations : Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial data.
• Financial Analysis : Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management to support decision-making.
• Record Maintenance : Ensure that all accounting records are accurate, up-to-date, and securely maintained.
