As a Security Officer - Armed Access Gate in Pasadena, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This position requires both an armed guard card / license and a valid driver's license. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
  • Remain alert to any unusual activity or conditions within the location and take appropriate action as outlined in post orders.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
