The Radiology Physician at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System oversees medical imaging services while supervising and educating radiology residents, fellows, and technologists. This role is based primarily in Nashville, with responsibilities at the Murfreesboro campus as well. The physician will report to the Chief of Staff and engage in various service-related duties.

General Description :

Position entails a combined physician appointment in the Medical Imaging section of the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) at both the Nashville and Murfreesboro campuses. The Chief is primarily based at the Nashville campus. As Chief of the Service the position has supervisory responsibilities and is responsible for other duties as assigned by the Chief of Staff.

Supervisory Controls :

The physician works under the direction of the Chief of Staff and will oversee supervision of and

active participation in the education of radiology residents and fellows, medical students, radiology

technologists and student technologists.
