Overview

The Program Manager will be responsible for the operation of the community-based program. The Program Manager will have the responsibility and authority for all actions decisions and performances within the total scope of the program. They are responsible for developing implementing and managing the clinical and operational components of the program. The Program Manager shares with the Executive Director the responsibility to provide quality evidence-based and trauma informed services to all youth and families receiving services and for the hiring training and supervision of all program the Executive Directors absence the Program Manager will be responsible for the efficient management of the financial and physical resources of the agency. The Program Manager or assigned delegate will be accessible by telephone to assist in emergencies. The Program Manager will also maintain a manageable caseload initially until the need for a full time Program Manager is established.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Executive Director in developing effective treatment interventions for children and families involved with the child welfare and / or juvenile justice systems
• Evaluates treatment programs and makes recommendations to the Executive Director
• Develops and administers standards and procedures for all treatment staff
• Assists in the recruitment and hiring of qualified treatment staff and oversees training supervision promotion and discipline
• Oversees training promotion and discipline of treatment staff and provides ongoing supervision
• Keeps the Executive Director and client agencies informed of agencys programs and policies
• Maintains a caseload and provide quality service to clients
• Represents and interprets the agencys programs and policies to the public custodial agencies the courts and the community
• Maintains good working relationships with local state and national agencies including schools courts welfare departments probation departments and other social service agencies
