General Summary:
The general purpose of this position is to implement prevention programs and increasing community capacity, engaging in community development, as well as youth and parent engagement.
Essential Functions:
3.Recruits’ community sectors to establish partnerships, plans, and facilitates coalition meetings, and other coalition events including the parent and/or youth leadership components.
4.Organizes community events as well as participates in other health fairs/events in the community.
6.Empowers, prepares, and trains community partners/members to move towards sustainability of programming.
9.Provide referrals and resources to parents and youth. Updates resource lists to ensure youth friendliness, validity, and practicality to the community.
10.Helps to construct, collect, distribute, and complete all community needs assessments including gathering statistics, completing focus groups, distributing surveys, interviewing and other such methods.
11.Completes all necessary documentation and reports for the program, agency, and coalition.
12.All other duties as assigned.
