Level 4 Product Support Leadership
Provide Level 4 product support leadership for Ascension Technologies applications and platforms in the Facilities Operations Portfolio. This role is desired to have a deep level of awareness and experience with facility technologies, including but not limited to Environmental Monitoring, Energy Management, Pneumatic Tubing, Building Automation, and Fire Alarm management.
35 years of experience supporting or managing building technologies, BAS platforms, or energy systems in a commercial, healthcare, or technical environment.
This role requires hands-on experience with environmental systems such as Pevco, Swisslog, Instadose and myLDR, Building Automations solutions such as Trane, Siemens, Johnsons Control and Honeywell) and several other facility technologies. Experience working in cross-functional teams with Facilities, IT, and external vendors. Demonstrated ability to manage small to mid-size technical projects from planning through implementation. A deep understanding of network infrastructure, cabling and data transmission. Knowledge of security protocols and access controls systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Daily engagement and leadership with the product team for the support, iteration, build, deployment and upgrade of facility platforms. Deep understanding of the integration of the product portfolio and its use case within the healthcare setting to include energy technology and integrations with other applications. Daily work will include collaborating with stakeholders, peers, and developers to design and implement software and facility devices. High level of communication skills, both written and verbal are required. Works independently to understand workflows and applies technical knowledge to assist end users. Creates clear documentation for education, knowledge share for team and procedure / policy requirements. Utilizes critical thinking to decipher workflows to understand adjustments needed to application deployments. Understands basic technology infrastructure to assist with any new functionality, break / fix or application replacement. Experience working with vendors and technology partners to resolve escalated technical issues and implement system updates or enhancements. Collaborate with the project manager for risk, issue, decision, and status reporting. Consult on strategic oversight of system design for future considerations. Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required. On-call availability is a requirement. On-site travel is a requirement. Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge of facility operations and related technologies. Experience with sustainability or energy efficiency initiatives is a plus. Technical aptitude with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree / Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
