Network Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Network Security Engineer to support a growing organization within the technology industry.

Key Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, and optimize network security controls aligned with NIST 800 53 and SOC 2 requirements

Conduct internal security audits, risk assessments, and evidence collection to support compliance initiatives

Harden network infrastructure through secure configuration practices and continuous monitoring

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of hands-on network security engineering experience

Strong knowledge of NIST 800 53 and SOC 2 trust service criteria and audit expectations

Proficiency with enterprise security tools (firewalls, SIEM, IDS / IPS, vulnerability management)

Demonstrated experience configuring and hardening network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)

Familiarity with incident analysis, threat detection, and SOC workflows
