A collaborative spirit and commitment to our mission. Able to commit a few hours a week for at least 3 months (schedule flexible). Gain or expand experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing. Collaborate with an experienced nonprofit leadership team. Make a meaningful impact by helping us secure the resources to fight misinformation. Flexible role that can grow with your skills and availability.
TruthHackers is seeking a motivated volunteer to help us grow our mission to combat misinformation through education and media. This role offers flexibility for someone just starting out in fundraising / grant writing or a seasoned professional looking to contribute their skills to a cause they care about.
You’ll support - and have the opportunity to lead - key fundraising activities, depending on your experience and interest. This can include :
- Researching and tracking potential funders and grants.
- Drafting and refining grant applications, letters of inquiry, and donor communications.
- Helping design and implement fundraising campaigns.
- Organizing records and tracking progress toward fundraising goals.
