Job Summary: The Manager of a New York State Licensed Homecare Agency is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the agency. The Manager will ensure that the agency complies with all state and federal regulations, manages finances and budgets, develops and implements policies and procedures, and leads the agency's team of caregivers to provide high-quality care to clients.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the homecare agency, including managing finances and budgets, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Manage the agency's team of caregivers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff to ensure high-quality care is provided to clients.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and referral sources to ensure a positive reputation and increased business opportunities.
Work collaboratively with the agency's Medical Director to ensure that all clients receive appropriate medical care and attention.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and improve outcomes for clients.
Monitor and analyze agency performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve quality and efficiency.
Ensure that the agency maintains appropriate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Represent the agency at community events, professional associations, and other gatherings to promote the agency and its services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
At least 3 years of management experience in a healthcare or homecare setting is required.
Knowledge of New York State homecare regulations and requirements is required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, there will be bonus incentives. The agency also offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off.
