Full Time Associate Dentist

• Duties
• Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics treatments.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical and dental histories, performing oral examinations, and utilizing dental imaging techniques.
• Administer local anesthesia and perform oral surgeries such as extractions with precision and care.
• Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and update medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment plans clearly with patients and team members.
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, including sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques, to uphold safety standards.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology by operating dental fabrication equipment and utilizing medical imaging tools effectively.
• Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options to empower them in maintaining optimal oral hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to medical documentation, HIPAA privacy rules, and infection control policies.
• Skills
• Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in performing diverse procedures.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques.
• Familiarity with popular practice management software including Dentrix Ascend or similar systems for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes.
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivering high-quality results.
• Solid understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a clinical setting.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry for optimal workflow.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Experience operating dental equipment such as dental fabrication tools and medical imaging devices confidently.
