Our client, an industry leader in telecommunications, has an excellent opportunity for a Data Scientist to work on a 12+month renewable contract opportunity. Work will be a hybrid on-site / remote schedule in Englewood, CO. The Data Scientist will focus on Prompt Engineering & LLMs and A / B testing. These resources are responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing prompts for various AI applications, with a focus on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques and large language models (LLMs).

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate : $58 - $62 / hr. w2

Responsibilities :

• This team handles Natural Language Processing + internal Gen-AI tool.
• The newest project for the team is a method to manage Customer Escalation Tickets.
• Tickets come from varying channels (call centers, NPS scores, etc.), building ML models to determine classification and delegate to the proper team for resolution.
• Other supporting initiatives could include AI tools for call centers, that help customers and agents answer questions with more urgency / accuracy to achieve customer experience improvements; or an internal AI program that helps Field Agents identify customer issues before they even get to the home.
• Work collaboratively to configure and integrate LLM solutions into existing systems and workflows, ensuring high-quality, relevant outputs while advancing current systems.
• Conduct rigorous statistical analyses and experimentation, continuously staying updated on the latest advancements in prompt engineering, RAG, and LLM technologies.
• Analyze and preprocess large datasets to train and fine-tune language models, applying advanced statistical methods to validate findings and improve model performance.
• Prompt Engineers & LLM Specialists ensure data privacy and security compliance in all AI-related activities and contribute to the development of innovative AI products and solutions that add value to the business.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
