Job Summary :

Reporting to the Dir. Global Transportation this role is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives across a comprehensive range of global transportation and logistics services. This includes parcel truckload (TL) less-than-truckload (LTL) intermodal (IMDL) rail air freight ocean freight and international logistics as well as transportation management systems (TMS) and related services. The role is responsible for developing and executing global category strategies that drive cost savings service improvement innovation and risk mitigation across all modes of transport and regions.

Responsibilities :

Domestic and International Logistics : Parcel TL LTL rail intermodal Ocean (FCL / LCL) air freight cross-border shipments.

Logistics Technology : TMS platforms freight audit / payment and tracking. Conduct market analysis benchmarking and supplier assessments to support data-driven sourcing decisions. Lead sourcing events (RFIs / RFPs / RFQs) contract negotiations and carrier selection processes focused on total cost of ownership and service level performance.

Supplier & Carrier Relationship Management : Manage key logistics providers and carriers to ensure service reliability continuous improvement and compliance with negotiated terms. Monitor carrier KPIs and SLAs across cost quality on-time delivery capacity and innovation. Partner with Logistics Transportation Operations and Supply Chain teams to address service issues network optimization and capacity planning.

Cost Optimization & Risk Management : Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives across global logistics spend. Develop risk mitigation strategies around capacity geopolitical issues tariffs compliance and carrier performance. Leverage analytics to drive freight lane optimization mode conversion and consolidation opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Fleet Supply Chain Finance IT Legal Operations and Compliance teams to ensure alignment of strategies with business objectives. Provide market intelligence and insights to internal stakeholders for planning and forecasting.

Qualifications :

7 years experience in Fleet Management or Operations.

5 years leading a team.

Bachelors degree : Business Supply Chain or relevant focus preferred.

Travel up to 25%

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving ability with logical reasoning.

Strong customer service skills with ability to speak on the phone a large portion of the day.

Ability to multi-task.
