University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB (UEC) supports the universitys educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. Were responsible for business enterprises on campus including but not limited to dining bookstore convenience store and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal state and local funding for research and sponsored projects.

Position Summary

Temporary Staff Non-Exempt Full Time Benefited position through 6 / 30 / 2027 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds availability of work and satisfactory job performance).

Salary : $3440.00-$4400.00 per month.

Location : CSRI Victorville Center.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week. 8 : 45AM-5 : 15PM Monday-Friday (with some evenings and Saturdays required). Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.

Typical Activities

Under minimal supervision of the Center Manager the Security Guard will work independently to :

Security & Surveillance :

• Monitor and control access to the facility ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
• Conduct continuous security patrols both inside and outside the building to identify and address potential safety concerns
• Monitor security cameras to detect suspicious activity and report any incidents to management.
• Respond to disturbances emergencies or security threats in accordance with organizational protocols.
• Maintain a log of security incidents visitor check-ins and any unusual activity.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Security guard and clerical administration.
