Job Title : Lead Matillion Data Engineer

Location : Remote

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead the design, development, and delivery of ETL pipelines to process healthcare data. - Ensure efficient, scalable, and high-performance solutions with data consistency and quality. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on data requirements. - Mentor junior engineers and team members. - Address and resolve issues related to ELT processes, ensuring minimal disruptions and maintaining data integrity. - Collaborate with the client department to understand their data needs and provide solutions. - Participate in the development, testing, and enhancement of data engineering processes.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS - Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud-native data engineering, including 3-5 years with Snowflake, Azure, Matillion, DBT ETL tools. - Experience in data modeling for Data Warehouse in Snowflake. - Hands-on experience in designing and developing ELT processes. - At least 3-5 years of experience working in the healthcare payor domain, with a focus on data governance, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare-related data processing. - Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouse solutions. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. - Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements for healthcare data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Role / Responsibilities

Lead the data solutions stream within the program, ensuring timely and quality delivery of data components.

Oversee the development and execution of data solutions, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.

Collaborate with other teams to ensure end-to-end data solution integration.

Create and maintain essential project documentation, including solution design, interface contracts, data model design, and technical documents.

Provide guidance and technical advice to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

Manage stakeholder expectations and act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and external partners.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine requirements, identify risks, and address technical challenges.
