As the Official Hotel of Deer District, The Trade Hotel is located in the bustling heart of downtown, adjacent to Fiserv Forum. Situated courtside in Cream City's dynamic hub of sports, culture, and entertainment, The Trade offers 207 luxurious rooms and suites plus destination dining with a rooftop restaurant and lounge boasting stunning city views.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • The Director of Food & Beverage works to create a positive work environment for the team while also ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
  • Operations & Financial Management
  • Oversee daily Food & Beverage operations, ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and procedures
  • Assist in the ordering, receiving, and inventory control of food, beverages, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
  • Assist in preparing and managing the annual Food & Beverage budget, including cost control for food, beverage, and labor
  • Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Supervise Food & Beverage team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Support team growth through coaching, employee relations, and ongoing development
  • Guest Experience & Quality Standards
  • Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining personal contact with guests dining
  • Maintain product and service quality standards by addressing deficiencies and initiating improvements
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality service that enhances guest satisfaction and retention
  • What does success look like in this role?
  • College degree or at least five years of food & beverage related experience
  • Three years or more in Food & Beverage management positions
  • Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
