Job Summary
The Environmental Services Lead will support the directives of the Environmental Services Leadership and provide leadership with related feedback in regard to the staff's work performance and the daily departmental operations. The Lead in conjunction with the Supervisor will assist Environmental Services staff so that the hospitals environment are cleaned and patient ready in an efficient manner and in accordance to departmental procedures. As necessary, The Lead will generate the Bed Turn Over Board and support OR and custodian staff.
The Lead does not have full authority in administering disciplinary action, this position does carry the responsibility to report to the Environmental Services Leadership, concerns created by poor work performance of an employee, or by his / her failure to follow departmental policies or regulations. The Lead's primary responsibilities include but not limited to leading and coordinating of staffing and workflows, and is required to some extent to make independent decisions in the absence of the supervisor and / or manager.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $37.74 - $47.11 (Hourly Rate).
