Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our wonderful therapy team!

Located in beautiful  North Wales, PA , our facility contains 270 long-term care beds, 54 short-term rehabilitation beds, and 48 apartments in our personal care unit.

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the leadership of our Director of Rehabilitation.

COTA  Job Responsibilities :

The COTA will provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.

The COTA will document progress in daily treatment notes and complete all required documentation as indicated by state guidelines.

Document their treatments and follow up with interdisciplinary team members for best practice.

Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in the treatment plan.

COTA will monitor their treatments as indicated by the physician orders.

Participate in implementation of resident care plans.

Will work with interdisciplinary team to improve residents quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans.

Education / Experience

Must be a graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Occupational Therapist Assistance that AOTA recognizes.

Must provide current license and / or registration as Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Experience with the geriatric population is preferred.
