Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat companion animals

Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results

Educate clients on preventive care and treatment options

Perform surgery and prescribe medications

Provide compassionate end-of-life care

Maintain accurate patient records and uphold veterinary ethics

Requirements

DVM / VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution

State licensure (or eligibility)

DEA / BNDD eligibility

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional, collaborative, and client-focused demeanor

Ability to lift / carry up to 25 pounds independently (and more with assistance)
