American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient position working with orthopedic, neurologic, and acute care patients in a regional hospital; 2 years of experience and MN OT license required.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Outpatient rehabilitation setting within a regional hospitalTreats primarily outpatient orthopedic and neurologic patients, with approximately 30% acute care responsibilitiesDay shift from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, Monday through FridayNo weekend or on-call requirementsWill float within scope to meet facility needs or at affiliate hospitals as neededTeam consists of 7 Physical Therapists and 1 Speech-Language PathologistHand therapy support included but is less emphasized than other areasEpic (Excellian) EMR is used; prior experience with Epic is requiredFacility staffed with 56 bedsBlock scheduling is open for accommodationResponsibilities include managing a diverse caseload across outpatient ortho, neuro, and acute care patientsCollaboration with an interdisciplinary team including PTs and SLPFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyReturn employees must have a minimum 3-month gap since their last shift to be eligibleScrub color will be confirmed prior to startFree parking available in designated lotTime off requests ideally should not exceed 5 days\n \n Requirements\n
