Receiving & Logistics Coordinator

Needed in Madera, CA. The Receiving & Logistics Coordinator needs to have an overall understanding of receiving & shipping practices of products. They must be able to assist the shipping personnel with all paperwork needed for shipping or receiving products in the food facility. They must have some knowledge & understanding of entering information in the computer for data entry detailing daily loading & unloading data for various departments. Duties include : Receiving inbound trucks for materials & ingredients, including printing QR tags; Scheduling Customer Pick-up inquiries & maintaining loading schedule; Communicating & assisting truck drivers with paperwork for inbound loads; Assisting Logistics Manager with arranging transportation for inbound / outbound shipments; Entering work order tickets for Shipping / Receiving needs; Performing any other work assigned by Logistics Manager or other management including overtime when needed; Keeping functional radio on person during entire shift & answering when called by Shipping Supervisor, Shipping & Receiving Team Leader, Logistics Manager, Forklift Drivers, or any other Management; Serving as back-up to Shipping Supervisor in their absence; Cleaning work area & preparing for next shift. Required qualifications : High school diploma / equivalent (GED); GMP Training (new hire & annual); SOP’s for Receiving Program, Shipping Program, & Storage Program (Packaging Supplies, Inventory Control, Stock Rotation, Raw Materials, & Finished Product); Knowledge of Forklift Inspection Form; Knowledge of Logistics / Transportation / Shipping; Above average computer skills; Basic math skills; Above average communication skills; Able to work well both independently & collaboratively. Exp. with food manufacturing Principles & implementation desired. 1-3 yrs production manufacturing exp. desired.
