Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dentist to provide specialized dental care to children in a Family Health Center in Arverne, Queens, NY. This is a full-time position with a unique and desirable 3-day work week schedule.

    • Qualifications :

  • Education : DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
  • Licensure : Active New York State Dental License (Required).
  • Certification : Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • Others : Must have an active Medicaid and Medicare number (NPI)
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in all aspects of pediatric dentistry and behavior management techniques.
  • Soft Skills : Compassionate, patient, and excellent communication skills to work with children and parents. Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care, including exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
  • Diagnose and treat dental diseases and developmental issues in children.
  • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care.
  • Manage patient behavior to create a positive and comfortable dental experience.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all clinical protocols.
