[job_card.job_description]Avg Patient Encounters while on call : Varies Avg Called in while on call : Varies, about 2-4 admissions, plus calls for behavioral issues, PRN medications, non-routine incidents on the unit Response time : 25 minutes Midlevels assist with new evals and summaries EMR : Epic Daily average of 3-5 consults, and 5-6 follow-ups. Department / Units Rounding : Adult, DEM, Consults
Locum Psychiatry need in Johnstown, PA. ASAP and on-going need. Must have current PA license.
Hospital :
- Inpatient unit - 29 beds, census currently capped at 21.
- Call schedule : 1-2 days per week. 3 days on occasion
Possible weekend call needed
On call weekdays by phone from 5 pm until 8 am the following morning. On call weekends round on psychiatric units and see new consultations in the ED and med / surg on Saturday and Sunday.
