Location : MCI Framingham - Framingham, MA
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week
Pay rate : $24.00 / hour
The Medical Assistant / CNA is responsible for :
- Conducting assessments for patients referred to treatment and / or enrolled in services including triage, COWS, vitals.
- Scheduling and preparing documentation for all admission physical assessments, annual physical assessments and follow up appointments with the medical provider.
- Data enters all medication lists into the electronic health record for medication reconciliation purposes and as directed. Responsible for submitting and processing all medical records requests.
- Conducting toxicology screening and phlebotomy in accordance with the program policy / procedure and regulatory frequency guidelines.
- Strictly adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality policies when responding to inquiries for patient information or copies of information.
- Providing general cleaning maintenance of medical unit ensuring that it presents as a clean, comfortable, pleasant environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Ordering, receiving and stocking required inventory of medical supplies as directed.
