Accounting ClerkLocation - Rocklin, CA
Summary :
Computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Open mail and sort checks
- Scan and upload checks
- Prepare and deposit checks for over 60 accounts
- Mail checks to clients for deposit
- Data entry and file generation for system upload
- Stop pay and positive pay backup
- Reconciles report discrepancies and problems
- Codes data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures
- Reviews, balances, and interprets computer reports, and makes corrections
- Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services
- Other duties as assigned by Accounting Supervisors and CFO

Education and / or Experience :
High school education and one or two years of office related experience; experience in Accounting or Finance preferred.
