A company is looking for a Specialist / Assistant Manager, Payroll (Japan).
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee payroll operations for Japan, including calculations, vendor coordination, and statutory reporting
Manage team escalations and ensure client satisfaction by providing solutions to issues
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain payroll accuracy in local systems
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Japanese payroll management
Proven experience in leading payroll operations in Japan
Preferable to have a Labor & Social Security Attorney license
Strong proficiency in MS Office systems and knowledge of payroll operations in other countries is advantageous
