Valid State Driver's License. BLS, ACLS certifications, and NREMT-Paramedic credentials. Driving record in compliance with company policy. Ability to pass the Physical Agility Test. Some relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare.
Job Title : Interfacility Paramedic
Job Type : Full-Time
Starting Pay : $34.61 / hr. and up, based on experience! (This pay rate includes a $5 / hour stipend for this specific shift)
We are seeking dedicated Paramedics who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality medical care and both basic and advanced patient services. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients!
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate each call situation to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and perform medical procedures including defibrillation, EKG monitoring, and administration of intravenous fluids.
- Provide clear communication to patients and their families to reassure them that they are receiving proper care.
- Lead the Paramedic team, managing the scene and unit as necessary.
- Drive the ambulance in emergency response situations.
- Work in collaboration with allied health professionals and fellow Paramedics to ensure the best patient outcomes.
