Job Description
Assist Doctor of Optometry with intake information
Triage patients by phone or in person.
Takes and records patient/ family ocular and systemic medical history.
Measures habitual Rx with automated lensometer.
Measures intraocular pressure with a non-contact tonometer.
Performs visual filed testing
Applies diagnostic pharmaceuticals as directed by optometrist.
Identifies and resolves end of day discrepancies with doctor.
Records each patient's screening tests into files.
Maintains and reorders contact lenses to maintain working stock.
