Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fiber Laser Operator (Flat tube or Laser) role in Marion, OH. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality metal fabrication products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain fiber laser cutting equipment (flatbed and / or tube laser).
  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to ensure accurate cutting and fabrication.
  • Set up and adjust CNC laser controls , tooling, and material handling systems for efficient operation.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser machines to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and correct issues related to laser performance, cutting quality, or material handling.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience operating fiber laser cutting systems (flat or tube) highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CNC controls and basic programming adjustments is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read blueprints and measure parts accurately.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing for long periods.
  • Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented.
