Familiarity with CNC controls and basic programming adjustments is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints and measure parts accurately. Capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing for long periods. Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented. Competitive hourly wage ($21+ DOE). Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fiber Laser Operator (Flat tube or Laser) role in Marion, OH. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality metal fabrication products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate, monitor, and maintain fiber laser cutting equipment (flatbed and / or tube laser).
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to ensure accurate cutting and fabrication.
- Set up and adjust CNC laser controls , tooling, and material handling systems for efficient operation.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser machines to ensure proper operation and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and correct issues related to laser performance, cutting quality, or material handling.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
