What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation facility and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and report irregularities. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols. Collaborate with site personnel and / or law enforcement as needed in response to incidents. Complete required logs, reports, and documentation in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements : At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
